I am worried that this is very bad for your health…I mean, the paper usually has ink/toner on it…which is probably harmful to your lungs if breathed on a regular basis. Anyone else had any issues from shredding a lot ? I shred large quantities at a time, sometimes daily and seem to have symptoms afterwards. I did start using ear plugs a while back. Now…I’m considering wearing a face mask because of the dust/air pollution that’s put out–it’s bad ! What do you think ??? Thanks…

I want to do something creative for my good friends baby shower. I know someone else is making the “diaper cake” so I need to stay away from that. A few years ago I went to a baby shower and made a gift. I took a plastic storage container and decorated the outside with the babies name and other stickers and filled it with misc things, i.e. shampoo, a bottle, and a few other things and filled it with colored paper that i put through the paper shredder. I need some ideas on what to decorate the outside of the tub with.( I use the tub so that the expecting parents can later use it for storage. )

I got hired to work in a credit union inside the FAA building. But before I started working there I need a clearance from the GOV, which took 6 weeks only. In the credit union its only me (teller) and my boss (supervisor). Once I got here everything was OK but for the last 2 months I’ve realized that I am doing more work than my boss and yet I get paid less and I have to be a teller, answer the phone, Balance the ATM, Fax, make copies, shred paper for her when the shredder is next to her, customer sev.. According to a couple of member that come here and I talk to everyday tell me no one lasts here because its tooo much work. And to top everything off my boss is a perfectionist and she’s driving me crazy. She doesnt let me work my way I am always being guided so, I feel that I can’t be myself. Do I have the right to go to the HR lady and tell her that I am not happy in my working environment and wish you to be relocated? Will that look bad on my part or should I just find a new job?
I knew when I got hired that I would be doing a little bit of everything but, I dont agree on being a slave either. I also have to give change to air traffic controllers 86384 times a day because they come change for the vending machine, I also need to balance at the end of the day or if not I got written up, I have to post loans, open accounts, while all she does is loans. And I need to open the branch in the morning because she has to take her girls to school. All of this for $12 dollars is it worth it? please your suggestion help. thank you
I am not trying to be a whinner but, I just feel overwhelmed with all the work and to top it off my mom was just diagnosed a month ago with liver and bone cancer. I am so stressed
